Dragging myself out of bed, I felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders. But if I didn't wake up when I did, I would have been woken up by my Nana. And trust me, you don't want to know what that is like. I was all dressed and ready to go, but I was still tired and this time I felt like the weight of the world was in my hands. Those bags were so heavy. I think after that I could have fallen asleep in a construction site. How ever when we arrived at the airport it turned out, that I could not sleep in a construction site I tried. What, did I cry? Na - it was because I had something in my eye. Well I think saying good bye, is one of the hardest things to do. The air port is one of the saddest places but that's another story .
And yet again GOOD BYE.
Hey Kalim,
ReplyDeleteI totally agree the airport can be a really sad place, but I think there is a huge amount of happiness and excitement amidst the sadness too!
So who was it that was leaving.
Keep working on you penmanship Kalim, I enjoy reading your snippets.

What a great piece of writing Kalim. You sure had me hooked. And I have so many unanswered questions. I do hope this is "To Be Continued..."
